Daisy Pardhan
Owner/ Centre Director
Daisy is the Owner and Director of Mathnasium of Crowfoot and Calgary North. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and spent six years teaching in Calgary classrooms before moving into educational technology. Her experience with math software deepened her understanding of how students process math differently and why a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work.
Captivated by the Mathnasium Method™, Daisy is committed to personalized learning and helping students move beyond a fixed mindset. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where students grow in confidence, develop strong math habits, and learn to love math.
Heshini Dalpathadu
Instructor
Heshini is a Ph.D. candidate in Medical Sciences at the University of Calgary with a passion for both science and math. Her love of math began when she experienced the joy of solving complex problems, a talent recognized when she earned the Top in Country award for Mathematics in high school.
Though she’s pursuing a career in science, Heshini remains passionate about teaching math and inspiring students to discover its beauty. Outside the classroom, she enjoys hiking, reading, and experimenting with new recipes.
Crystal Wai
Instructor
Crystal studies at Mount Royal University and aspires to become a data scientist. She is working toward a Bachelor of Science with concentrations in mathematics and biology, and a minor in computer information systems. Crystal believes math builds problem-solving skills and opens doors to new opportunities.
At Mathnasium, she enjoys adapting her instruction to meet each student’s learning needs. In her free time, Crystal codes in Python, plays video games, works out, and explores new adventures.
Jadyn Herperger
Assistant Centre Director
Jadyn is enrolled in the Concurrent General Mathematics and Education program at the University of Calgary. Inspired by positive experiences as a student, she hopes to create the same impact for others by supporting them through tutoring, mentoring, and teaching.
She enjoys helping students make real-world connections to math and explore their interests in meaningful ways. Her personal interests include astronomy, true crime, and traveling. One of her goals is to teach internationally and eventually learn a second language.
Fermi Al Manarat

Fermi is studying Mathematics at the University of Calgary and aspires to become an actuary and researcher. Alongside her studies, she has found a real passion for teaching. Tutoring has been a rewarding experience for her, especially when working with kids—she loves sharing her enthusiasm for math, helping them build confidence, and encouraging them to discover their own interests. She loves travelling, learning about new cultures and solving puzzles!

Vivek is a student at the University of Calgary, studying mechanical engineering. Driven by his passion for flight, innovation, and problem solving, he hopes to become an aerospace engineer in his future. Beyond school, Vivek enjoys sharing knowledge and encouraging others to explore STEM through mentorship. In the future, Vivek hopes to be a part of aerospace projects and eventually work abroad, collaborating with other passionate people throughout the world.

Razaan is a student at the University of Calgary, studying Engineering and Business. She has always had a passion for both math and teaching. Her favorite area of math is Algebra. She aims to make complex topics simple and approachable for students, helping them build an understanding of concepts she once found challenging. In her free time, Razaan enjoys hiking, baking and travelling.
