Welcome to Mathnasium of Largo

My daughter was really struggling in math and her grades and confidence were impacted. She kept saying that she was just bad at math and said that her teacher told her that she just wasn’t trying hard enough. The Mathnasium assessment identified the topics that she needed to address and she has been working to master those skills. She brought her grades up, but more importantly, she is rebuilding her confidence.

Mathnasium is great for younger children. They really broaden the knowledge base and gives them enormous confidence in school. And they can be ahead of their class. As they get older, the program needs to be catered more specifically and it’s harder to veer from the Mathnasium program. We love it!

My children have been strictly homeschooled their entire lives. This has been our first experience with tutors. The staff has been very welcoming and supportive to my children. I have been greatly satisfied with our experience thus far.

We signed my nephew up near the end of 8th grade because he was struggling and had the eoc test fast approaching. He ended up doing very well on the eoc and is still attending Mathnasium to make sure he has all the basics down to succeed in high school.

Mathnasium covers the gaps that inevitably arise as young people go through the journey of school. With so many different systems and teaching styles, there is infinite space for confusion and miscommunication. Mathnasium regroups the information and presents it in its own way, repeating material as long as needed for the child to absorb it permanently. It gives me peace to know that there is someone picking up the pieces left by the school so that the child has deep knowledge and its direct consequence, confidence.

Mathnasium is a wonderful concept and a great way to either catch up in Math or move ahead. The environment is comfortable. The instructors are qualified and fun! The administration is helpful and understanding. Learning plans are specifically designed for each student. Incentives are motivating and theme days are creative. I'm so glad I found Mathnasium for my two boys!
