Sarah Pohl

Center Director
Sarah's journey in education began right here in Pinellas County, where she grew up and went to school. Like many educators, she found a passion for teaching at a young age and began attending college early to obtain her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She then had the privilege of teaching math for grades fifth through seventh with Pinellas County Schools. After five rewarding years in the classroom, she decided she wanted to take her education further, and earned her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. Throughout her career, supporting students has been a cornerstone of her practice. She firmly believes that every child has the potential to excel and thrive, given the right guidance and support.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
