Nicolette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and has taught at Liberty Middle School, Discovery Middle School, Bob Jones High School, and Calhoun Community College. She brings a deep passion for teaching and a dedication to helping students understand math in meaningful ways.
She enjoys showing students different ways to approach math problems, helping them discover strategies that make sense to them. Nicolette’s enthusiasm for learning is reflected in her commitment to each student’s progress and confidence in math.
Sangita "Seema"
Assistant Center Director
Seema is a certified tutor with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She brings over a decade of leadership experience and now uses her technical and organizational skills to support both students and fellow educators at Mathnasium.
She mentors instructors, administers assessments, and ensures students receive clear, personalized instruction. Seema is passionate about helping students of all ages grow confident in math, often using visual aids and technology to make learning interactive and fun.
Savannah
Lead Instructor
Savannah graduated from Collierville High School in Tennessee and is currently majoring in Systems Engineering with a Mathematics minor at UAH. She gained early tutoring experience through her school’s math society and now brings that passion to Mathnasium.
She loves seeing students make progress and encourages them to explore multiple strategies for solving problems. Savannah believes math is like solving a puzzle and works to help each student feel confident, prepared, and maybe even excited to learn math.
Connor
Instructor
Connor is an instructor at Mathnasium and a mathematics major at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, with minors in history and analytics. He graduated from Centennial High School, where he volunteered as a peer tutor.
Connor enjoys helping students build confidence and overcome frustration with math. He believes learning tools early can inspire long-term success. Outside of Mathnasium, Connor enjoys gaming, reading, hiking, solving puzzles, and playing disc golf with friends on the weekends.
Daniel
Instructor
Daniel is an instructor at Mathnasium and holds a master’s degree in Theological Studies. He enjoys math because of its universal nature and ability to strengthen problem-solving skills.
Daniel previously taught GED courses and has been a drummer for over 20 years. He is passionate about helping students discover confidence in math early. Outside of Mathnasium, Daniel enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and sharing his love of learning through both music and teaching.
Dena
Instructor
Dena has degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. She has over 25 years of experience in teaching and tutoring math at all levels from Kindergarten through College. She is a homeschooling mom of two boys, with an enthusiasm for making learning math and science fun. In her free time she enjoys reading, knitting, and writing patterns.
Gabriel
Instructor
Gabriel is an aerospace engineering major at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He ran the training program of an engineering club at his college and aims to bring that teaching experience to Mathnasium. He loves helping and seeing students understand difficult concepts in mathematics. He believes that math is a universal language that helps people understand each other better.
