Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Mercer Island

Husam Gazioglu

Husam is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Mercer Island. Prior to opening his Mathnasium center, Husam worked in various roles in Product and Program Management (SMART Technologies, Telecommunications Systems, AirTies Networks, Vidiator Technologies, Luxxon, AG Communication Systems, GTE) specializing in defining and delivering innovative new products to the marketplace. He has an MBA from University of Phoenix, and BSc with Special Honors in Electronic Engineering from University of Hull (UK). Having loved math as a child, Husam came to realize it is an intimidating subject for many, and is enthusiastic about helping every child on Mercer Island to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. He has tutored children of all ages, and he is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community. Married with 2 kids, Husam is an avid runner and coaches boys’ soccer on the island.
