    Yes, Mathnasium of Park Slope provides both in-center and online tutoring.   

    All our students receive caring face-to-face instruction in a fun small-group environment, whether they attend in person or log in virtually. 

  • Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

    No, the experience is designed to be consistent across both formats.  

    Online students follow the same customized learning plans and work directly with the specially trained tutors they would meet at our Brooklyn center. 

  • What math classes can your Park Slope tutors help with?

    No. Our pricing is the same for online, in-center, or hybrid learning formats. 

  • Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

    At Mathnasium of Park Slope, students begin the enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us identify their learning style, needs, and goals.   

    Using assessment-based insights, we create a learning plan that will help them truly understand and even start to enjoy math, making meaningful progress at their own pace. 

  • How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

    At Mathnasium of Park Slope, we do not follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instead, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math. 

    Using this approach, our specially trained math tutors meet students where they are in math and introduce new concepts step-by-step, in a logical sequence.
