Jean is a certified high school math teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching advanced courses including Geometry, Statistics, and Pre-Calculus. She holds a BS in Mathematics and earned a full scholarship thanks to her natural aptitude for math. Jean enjoys helping students build skills and confidence, and values how Mathnasium brings students and instructors together to foster learning.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jean enjoys detective and spy novels and spending time with her husband and three children.

Taku has been with Mathnasium for over six years. A cum laude graduate from the University of Houston, he earned his degree in Biology and plans to attend medical school to become a general practitioner. Our tutors can help students learn and master any K–12 math class or topic, from elementary school basics to Algebra, Geometry, all the way up to Calculus BC! We follow learning plans that are tailored to each student’s specific needs, so they can build skills, improve classroom performance, and feel more confident in math.
We offer flexible, monthly membership packages with a one-time enrollment fee. Most students attend sessions two to three times a week.
