Jean is a certified high school math teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching advanced courses including Geometry, Statistics, and Pre-Calculus. She holds a BS in Mathematics and earned a full scholarship thanks to her natural aptitude for math. Jean enjoys helping students build skills and confidence, and values how Mathnasium brings students and instructors together to foster learning.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jean enjoys detective and spy novels and spending time with her husband and three children.
Taku has been with Mathnasium for over six years. A cum laude graduate from the University of Houston, he earned his degree in Biology and plans to attend medical school to become a general practitioner. Taku is passionate about making math engaging and understandable for every student he works with.
Thang earned his degree in Applied Math and Economics from Brown University. He is a certified teacher with experience teaching high school Geometry since 2021. Thang brings clarity, enthusiasm, and a problem-solving mindset to each student interaction at Mathnasium.
Spencer earned his degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating summa cum laude. He has over 7 years of experience tutoring all levels of math up to Calculus BC. Spencer is passionate about changing children's perception of math by making it understandable, accessible and positive.
