Director, BS Physics (George Mason University)
Deanna graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Physics, completing advanced courses in Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. She also studied Child and Developmental Psychology, deepening her understanding of how students learn. Before Mathnasium, she worked as a camp counselor inspiring middle school girls in STEM.
A Mathnasium Certified Instructor for two years before becoming Director, Deanna honed her teaching skills and discovered her passion for working with children. She loves seeing how confidence in math can positively shape a student’s life.
Gerald (Jerry) DePasquale
Owner, Master Certified Instructor
Jerry opened Mathnasium of Stafford to help kids master math, knowing it opens doors to bright futures. His career spans roles at BAE Systems and CACI, serving the Department of Justice and Department of Defense. A retired Marine Corps Major, Jerry holds a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School.
With extensive collegiate math training and Mathnasium Master Certification, Jerry is committed to student success. He and his wife Kim are blessed with six children and eighteen grandchildren.

Owner, Business Manager
Kim manages Mathnasium operations and occasionally tutors math. A Mathnasium Certified Instructor, she is also Finance Manager at Hope of Christ Church in Stafford. Her 35-year career with the USDA included leading teams that supported farmers with loans, budgeting, and financial planning across 26 Virginia counties.
Kim’s math background includes business math, accounting, and bookkeeping. She and her husband Jerry share a love for family and are blessed with six children and eighteen grandchildren.
