Center Director
Melissa is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Wellesley. She graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Public Policy and has a strong interest in the science of learning. Her experience includes tutoring K–12 students and creating a curriculum that teaches young people how to run for office. Melissa is passionate about math equity and believes everyone is a “math person.”
She helps students connect math to everyday life, making it enjoyable and memorable. Outside of work, she loves exploring new coffee shops, listening to psychology podcasts, cooking, and taking long walks around Boston.

Julia brings a love of math and a dedication to creating engaging learning environments to her role at Mathnasium. With a background in private school instruction, she has a strong track record of helping students gain confidence and develop a deeper appreciation for math.

Myrtha holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Information Technology from M.I.T. Before opening the first Mathnasium center in Massachusetts, she built a successful career in consulting at Oracle Corporation.
As a Newton parent, Myrtha understands the community’s strong commitment to academic excellence. She is proud to offer a program that makes math make sense, and fun, for kids. Mathnasium of Wellesley is located across from Haskin’s Automotive and next to the Wellesley Antique Light shop. Parents often enjoy the nearby Whole Foods (just a 5-minute walk away) or visit the local park and sports fields while students are in session.
We’re also a short walk from Wellesley High School and within easy driving distance of Hunnewell and Sprague Elementary Schools. Parking is available behind our center.
