Dan Aloi, Director
Dan has been interested in the teaching process since teaching swim lessons at the YMCA as a teenager. Since then, he has taught in various work place settings and subjects which include a GED Prep School, Private tutoring, the Air National Guard, Red Cross courses, and computer literacy courses. What he really enjoys about Mathnasium is seeing the students' attitudes and perceptions change from being intimidated and disliking math, to having a positive and genuine joy for doing math. As the confidence of the student grows, students go beyond to math enrichment. Dan is currently completing his thesis for his Masters of Science in Data mining. Mathnasium is a great place to work where we get to see a lot of "ah-ha!" moments. Much consideration is taken in selecting instructors. Instructor selection is based on a series of math exams, as well as having great communication skills.
