Sharada Vajjhala

Lead Instructor

Sharda comes from a mixed background of software programming and academics. Prior to moving to the US, she worked as a Math teacher in India. Her love for Math prompted her to pursue a career in teaching Math. She is passionate about teaching students, and attempts to convey concepts in an effective manner, by utilizing different techniques. She firmly believes that, with practice, mathematical competence can be developed by one and all. In her free time, she enjoys doing puzzles and volunteering.

Grant Neighbor

My name is Grant Neighbor, I've lived my whole life in the Bellevue area. I got my Bachelors degree in Mathematics and am working towards a masters to become a full time teacher. I love learning about basically anything, history, music, any of the sciences, ect., so what I find compelling about Math in particular is how it always feels like there is more to learn and the way math builds on itself making the next revelation seem almost obvious.

My name is Farid. I’m originally from Peru, but I am now happy to call Greater Seattle home. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, and mathematics has always been a fascinating field to me. It is a pleasure to help others learn and develop an appreciation for the art of numbers.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
