Math Scavenger Hunt 2023

Aug 30, 2023

Earlier this year, we celebrated National Scavenger Hunt Day, and today, we’re joining in on the fun! Scavenger-hunt enthusiasts, get ready! Because we are sharing our own game with a math twist.

A scavenger hunt is a game based on a search for a list of items. This adventure for you and your child is enjoyable, and it helps identify instances of math around you. The best part is you can win a reward for participating in our contest! And note, that while this is a contest held until September 6, 2023, this is still an activity you can have fun with any day of the year.

Follow the rules below to participate in our Mathnasium Math Scavenger Hunt 2023 contest* by submitting photos of each instance you find, for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card!

  1. Download our activity page here to find the checklist. Remember to take photos of every instance you find to participate in the contest! Please note: these should be naturally occurring instances of math, and NOT hand-written math. Parental supervision is required when exploring outdoors or outside the home.

  2. Once you have completed the scavenger-hunt activity, go to the following link to upload your ten photos for each instance of math: https://bit.ly/MathnasiumMathScavengerHunt1Submission. Complete and submit the entire form. Make sure you are the owner of all submitted photos. The deadline for submissions is 11:59:59 p.m. PST, SEPTEMBER 6, 2023. The first five complete submissions win a $50 Amazon gift card! Winners will be notified by email within forty-five (45) days of the end of the contest period.
