Earlier this year, we celebrated National Scavenger Hunt Day, and today, we’re joining in on the fun! Scavenger-hunt enthusiasts, get ready! Because we are sharing our own game with a math twist.
A scavenger hunt is a game based on a search for a list of items. This adventure for you and your child is enjoyable, and it helps identify instances of math around you. Download our activity page here to find the checklist. For added fun, take photos of every instance you find. Please note: these should be naturally occurring instances of math, and NOT hand-written math. Parental supervision is required when exploring outdoors or outside the home.
