When my daughter had her first evaluation at the start of gr9 - she was at the level of gr4 due to lack of true reporting from school and covid online impact. Mathnasium team has put a special plan to bring her up in her math level but they went above their role and brought her up in her confidence level which made a difference in her attitude from dragging her feet to her lessons there, to rushing to go as she felt her improvement. My daughter got 55% in gr9 Maths and she finished with mid 80s in her gr11. The different experience in Mathnasium center that they personalize the experience, they handle the frustration with so much patience and zero judgment and a ton of compassion. We are so thankful for the few years we had our daughter learning with Mathnasium, if we regret anything, it would be that we have not started earlier.

This place is my son’s and my favorite. We’ve been coming here since before COVID, but after the pandemic, despite having a private math tutor for a while, my son still struggled to find interest in math. After returning to Mathnasium for a year, we’ve seen significant improvement. Dr. Sylvia and all the staff here always greet us with genuine warmth and care, and I’m deeply impressed by their passion and dedication. They always handle consultations and communication with my son’s school professionally, which I really appreciate. Most importantly, my son enjoys learning here, and that’s what I’m most satisfied with!

My daughter really enjoys going here. They are very friendly and always willing to listen and help out any way they can. I feel like my daughter is mastering math concepts that she did not learn through school. They also do a great job making math fun by giving them the opportunity to earn stars and win prizes.

My son was initially reluctant to do Math during summer but the whole process here, from assessment and then the classes have been amazing. He is always looking forward to going to Mathnasium and has been able to make up for anything missing at school in less than two months! We will be continuing with the program to ensure he has a strong Math foundation.

Since the time our daughter joined Mathnasium, we as parents have seen a lot of improvement in her math skills. We have been going to Mathnasium for the past 8 months. Here is what I observed for my daughter (grade 3): - she has gotten a lot more confident with her math skills - learnt good strategies and she is not using her fingers to count any more - she enjoys math and she loves going to her mathnasium sessions. - the educators are young, relate to kids well, knowledgeable and fun. Overall I highly recommend the centre to everyone who struggles or who thinks their child needs to be challenged more.

I signed my child up for the summer program at Mathnasium and it has been a great experience. He has become much more interested in math and now actually looks forward to going every day. Some days he even asks if he can go again. The way they teach is fun and interactive. Kids learn through games and activities which makes math feel exciting and not like a chore. It is really amazing to see how much more confident he has become. The tuition is a bit higher than some other places but the way they motivate and engage kids makes it totally worth it. When your child wants to learn more you know you picked the right place. I definitely recommend Mathnasium to any parent who wants their child to enjoy learning math.

My 8-year old son just loves Mathnasium and all the wonderful educators and staff!! He asks to go everyday and looks forward to it every time he goes.
