Tony has a great way of making the kids feel comfortable and at ease in the learning centre. He has Knowledgeable tutors on staff who explain math concepts in ways that my daughter can relate to! My child is thriving in math since she started at Mathnasium, all the instructors are great and are very patient. My child has gain a lot of confidence in her abilities and looks forward to every class. They are all a great team and work hard at keeping the children motivated and focused.

For the past couple of years, our grade 4 daughter has been facing challenges in math. We tried enrolling her in Kuman for a year, but unfortunately, it didn't yield the desired results. Mathnasium of Southland is an exceptional program for learning math skills and gaining confidence in math. My daughter was below grade level, struggling with ADHD. After 3 years she is now more than meeting school grade expectations, she is also confident to speak openly in class with the answers. Although tutoring is not a quick fix, you can be sure that with patience and long term support, your child will thrive. The instructors are engaging, and encourage students to keep trying with a positive attitude. The learning plans are customized and comprehensive, giving support in foundational skill development. My advice to parents is don't pull out too soon or you will miss the benefits and results that this program promises. I'm so glad I found Mathnasium of Southland because my daughter is not only thriving in math, she is thriving in life too.

All thanks to Mathnasium that my daughter has excelled in Maths. The new centre director is very kind and polite. She immediately attended us and helped us with the process and enrollment. I was happy to know that the new Centre Director is Ex Principal of International School in India and has a teaching experience of 20+ years She was a teacher in Ontario and has a teaching license from BC. The centre has very capable teachers who are Maths and Engineering graduates

We have been taking our son to Mathnasium for only a couple months and he has already shown improvement! All of the teachers are very encouraging. I love the atmosphere and instructors at mathnasium. My daughter struggles with math and before mathnasium she was averaging 23% on her math tests now she is averaging 73%. This place is my son’s and my favorite. We’ve been coming here since before COVID, but after the pandemic, despite having a private math tutor for a while, my son still struggled to find interest in math. After returning to Mathnasium for a year, we’ve seen significant improvement. Dr. Sylvia and all the staff here always greet us with genuine warmth and care, and I’m deeply impressed by their passion and dedication. My son started Mathnasium in grade 6. At that time, he was struggling with math's and had little overall academic confidence. He required an IEP and regular assistance from the Resource Teacher. By the end of grade 6, after working with Mathnasium, he was recognized as the Most Academically Improved Student in his grade. Now, 3/4 of the way through grade 7, he is a super confident student, rarely uses his IEP accommodations, never gets assistance from the Resource Teacher and often scores above class average in exams. And that goes for all subjects, not just math's. He was dedicated to his success and Mathnasium helped boost his overall math knowledge and confidence. We can hardly believe the success Mathnasium helped him achieve. Adjacent to academic success, Mathnasium provides our son with opportunities to interact with young adults who are role models for him. His tutors often discuss their university programs with him.
