Rhoda is an Engineering student at the University of Calgary with a natural gift for math and a love of teaching. She’s tutored peers and family friends since high school and is a valued member of the Killarney team.
Rhoda’s calm, clear teaching style and helpful strategies make math accessible and fun for students. Her peers often seek her guidance, and her positivity lights up the centre. Outside of Mathnasium, Rhoda enjoys sewing and crocheting and has even sold her creations at local art markets.
Atina is an international student from Bangladesh studying Biochemistry at the University of Calgary. A dedicated tutor since grade 9, she’s helped classmates and younger students find success in math. She’s passionate about education and dreams of opening a cutting-edge genetics lab in Bangladesh.
When she’s not teaching or studying, Atina explores cities and landscapes, learning about their history. She also enjoys astrophotography and all things astronomy. Atina is excited to share her enthusiasm for math with students at Mathnasium of Killarney.
Nathan studies Finance at the University of Calgary and brings ambition, kindness, and clarity to the Mathnasium of Killarney team. A graduate of the AP program, Nathan loves helping students break down complex problems into manageable steps.
He sees math as a tool for building strong analytical skills and confidence. Outside of Mathnasium, he volunteers at the Calgary Food Bank and enjoys skiing and hiking in the Rockies. Nathan is committed to helping students develop their skills and enjoy learning.
Sehba is a Biomedical Engineering major at the University of Calgary with a minor in Digital Engineering. A lifelong math enthusiast, she has tutored peers and younger students since high school and enjoys helping students connect math to real life.
Her studies have deepened her love for problem-solving, and she’s excited to share that passion at Mathnasium of Killarney. With her patient guidance and strong foundation, Sehba creates a welcoming space for students to grow in confidence and skill.
Roya brings over 20 years of high school teaching experience from Iran to Mathnasium of Killarney. She believes anyone can excel in math with the right support and loves how the Mathnasium Method helps students truly understand the subject.
Roya is known for her patience, dedication, and kind approach, always taking extra time to review materials and ensure every student succeeds. She’s thrilled to continue her teaching journey and inspire young learners to discover their potential in math.
