Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Ladner

Onkar Singh is a driven and enthusiastic student currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in General Scienceat Kwantlen Polytechnic University. With a background in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, he’s especially passionate about teaching math and supporting students in understanding core concepts. 

Alongside his academic achievements, Onkar enjoys playing cricket, which showcases his team spirit and collaborative mindset. He brings that same energy and commitment to the learning center, where he strives to create a positive, encouraging environment for every student he tutors. 

Jerry began his professional journey as a software developer before transitioning into education, where he now applies his analytical background to make math more visual and accessible. He has a passion for creating analogies that bring abstract math concepts to life, helping students truly understand what they’re learning. 

As Centre Director, Jerry fosters a welcoming environment where curiosity and fun go hand-in-hand with learning. You’ll often hear him say, “Catch me in-centre, we’ll get to know each other over a slice of π.” His goal is to make math engaging, personal, and unforgettable.
