Honestly we'll worth it. My son was struggling in math last school year. I decided to put my son in at mathnasium at the beginning of the summer (2025). When school started in September, he was already on par and knew what he was doing!! I was so happy and he loves going. He has a mild ADHD. He gets points for prizes and is motivated very well. My son just got his first A+ yesterday in math! We're so happy! Thanks so much Mathnasium!

When my daughter had her first evaluation at the start of gr9 - she was at the level of gr4 due to lack of true reporting from school and covid online impact. Mathnasium team has put a special plan to bring her up in her math level but they went above their role and brought her up in her confidence level which made a difference in her attitude from dragging her feet to her lessons there, to rushing to go as she felt her improvement. My daughter got 55% in gr9 Maths and she finished with mid 80s in her gr11. The different experience in Mathnasium center that they personalize the experience, they handle the frustration with so much patience and zero judgment and a ton of compassion. We are so thankful for the few years we had our daughter learning with Mathnasium, if we regret anything, it would be that we have not started earlier.

My 11 year old son has been at Mathnasium for a few years now and really loves going! The communication is great and the instructors are very friendly and accessible. I find they really excel at making the kids feel seen and heard and they strive to create a relaxed and fun environment. There are contests and a once a month games night which is really nice and inclusive. This is a great centre! Update: Math is still fun! Going to Mathnasium has increased my son’s average and self- confidence!

Our son is in grade 4 and attends Mathnesium at the Beach three times per week. In his last report card he received A in math and the teacher's comments praised his understanding of math concepts and his ability to solve problem independently. Mathnesium gets all the credit for his progress and for his new found love for math. I cannot praise the team of instructors enough - they are all personable, great motivators, follow an excellent methodology, teach the right technique and give helpful tips. Our daughter is catching up on math skills, thanks to Mathnasium. The Mathnasium program is effective for many reasons - the skills taught and practiced work to teach kids a bigger concept step by step, there is a lot of positive reinforcement, and frequent feedback. I love that students are filling all gaps in their mathematical understanding - not just a few concepts that the teachers point out (as in typical tutoring). I am very grateful for Mathnasium and truly feel like it is is making a significant impact in my daughter's ability to learn and retain math skills so she can keep up with the curriculum at school. My daughter has such a positive experience at the Central Whitby Mathnasium Centre. Her performance in math has been strong all year and most importantly, she developed confidence in her ability to learn and master the content. She followed along with the program that was set out for her and also was able to do some review for upcoming tests with the staff. The one on one tutoring provided by Mathnasium is exceptional. My daughter likes that there is one person who is assisting just here when she has a question. She is able to work at her own pace and she has commented on how confident she feels in doing her math homework. On days when she has homework, she takes it with her to Mathnasium and always receives the assistance she requires. I would absolutely recommend Mathnasium to any parent who has a child that is having difficulties or just wants their child to put in more time in this subject.
