Adriana holds a B.E.Sc. in Software Engineering from Western University and believes that learning works best when it is made enjoyable. She is passionate about helping students learn math at their own pace and hopes to use her degree to create interactive experiences that make learning easier and more fun.
Outside the centre, Adriana enjoys drawing, playing video games, and reading books. She brings creativity and enthusiasm to her teaching, ensuring that every student finds math engaging and accessible.
Grace holds a BSc in Psychology from Queen's University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. Throughout her academic journey, she has been actively involved in tutoring mathematical concepts, particularly inferential statistics, and has dedicated herself to supporting children through community and non-profit organizations.
Her passion for empowering students led her to Mathnasium, where she contributes to a dynamic environment that makes math easier to grasp. In her spare time, Grace enjoys watching stand-up comedy and movies, reading, and nurturing her plants.
Caitlyn is a first-year Medical Science student at Western University who once struggled with math but developed a love for the subject through dedicated support from tutors. Now, she is passionate about helping children throughout their math journeys and showing them how they can grow their skills with the right guidance.
Outside Mathnasium, Caitlyn enjoys crafting and exploring nature. She loves to draw, paint, and build things in her free time, bringing that same creativity and hands-on energy to her work with students.
Heba is a fourth-year student pursuing her B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Western University. Math wasn't always her easiest subject, but with amazing teachers who took the time to help her learn at her own pace, she developed a passion for it. Now, her goal is to help children realize how approachable math can be and gain confidence through their knowledge.
In her free time, Heba enjoys tinkering with things, CAD modelling solutions, and prototyping them using her 3D printer. She brings problem-solving creativity to everything she does, including teaching.
Liam is a second-year Computer Science student at Western University with a minor in Game Development. Having been a Mathnasium student himself in 7th and 12th grade, Liam gained an interest in helping others with math just like his instructors helped him. He understands how it feels to struggle with math in school and is passionate about giving children the support they need to succeed.
In his free time, Liam loves playing video games, drawing, bowling with friends, and swimming in the summer. He brings enthusiasm and relatability to his teaching, making math more approachable for students.
Dhairya is one of our newer members of the team and is qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, as well as a Master's Degree in Physics from Kurukshetra University (India ). Specializing in mathematics education for children, she is dedicated to making complex concepts in math more accessible and engaging. Dhairya's diverse academic background, coupled with a passion for teaching, enables her to create dynamic and effective learning environments. She comes with 3 years of teaching experience from India and also has an international certificate of teaching fueled by a love for exploration. Dhairya enjoys relocating to new places, embracing different cultures, and bringing those experiences into her teaching. Her priorities are to engage in open communication, as well as fostering a collaborative atmosphere to enhance students' understanding and enthusiasm for mathematics. Dhairya's goal is to cultivate a love for learning and curiosity in the next generation, fostering a deep understanding of the interconnected world of science and technology. With a perfect blend of knowledge and enthusiasm, she aspires to be an inspiration, guiding students to explore the boundless possibilities.
Hi, my name is Keira and I currently attend Western University. I am in my second year, majoring in Mathematics with goals of becoming a teacher. When I was young I struggled a lot with math, and over the years I started to enjoy it more and more. Now, math is my favourite subject! I think it’s important for students to understand that math will be hard sometimes, but with the right practice and effort anything is possible!! In my free time I enjoy playing sports, going for walks outside with my dogs and hanging out with my friends.
Jack has completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Queen’s University and has rejoined our team once again. Throughout his education, Jack has always been eager to learn and he hopes to encourage students to find excitement in learning too. Jack’s academic interests are general relativity and cryptanalysis, and his personal interests are baking, singing, and hockey. “I’m always happy to talk science or share academic insight with those who are interested!”
