Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Dr Pratik Trivedi

Dr Pratik Trivedi has been with Mathnasium for over a year and a half and comes with his Bachelors in Mathematics from India. As well, he has completed his M.Sc, M.Phil and Doctorate in Statistics. He has over 10 years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Statistics to students from elementary level to post-graduate level before joining our team in 2022. This knowledge allows him to confidently explain concepts and processes to his students. His teaching focuses less on the content being taught than the students being taught.

Liam Elliott

Liam is a current Western University student working through his second year studying for a B.Sc. in Computer Sciences with a minor in Game Development. He graduated from Saunders Secondary School with Honours and joined Mathnasium at the beginning of 2023. Having previously been a student at Mathnasium in both 7th and 12th grade, Liam gained an interest in helping others with mathematics just like how his instructors helped him. Liam also understands how it feels to struggle with math in school, so that's why he is passionate about giving children the support they need to succeed in their classes. In his free time, Liam loves to play video games and draw, as well as go bowling with friends and swimming in the summer.

Heba Youssef

Hi, my name is Heba and I am a fourth year student pursuing my B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering at Western University. I've always loved working with children and have been around them all my life. Math wasn't my easiest subject, but I was fortunate enough to have amazing teachers that took the time to teach me at my own pace. Now all I want to do is math! My goal is to help kids realize how easy math can be, and help them gain confidence in themselves through their knowledge of math. I like tinkering with things, so during my free time, I like to try to Cad model solution and prototype them using my 3D printer.

Adriana Rodrigues

Adriana has recently graduated with a B.A. in Software Engineering from Western University, and has been a Mathnasium Instructor for over 2 and a half years. She believes that video games can be used to teach in a genuinely fun way. Learning works best when it is enjoyable, and any subject can be made interesting if taught the right way. Adriana also believes that everyone can learn math if they are given the opportunity to learn at their own pace, and she hopes to make complicated topics easier to understand. In her spare time she likes to draw, play/make video games and read books.

Dhairya Pulana

Dhairya is one of our newer members of the team and is qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, as well as a Master's Degree in Physics from Kurukshetra University (India ). Specializing in mathematics education for children, she is dedicated to making complex concepts in math more accessible and engaging. Dhairya's diverse academic background, coupled with a passion for teaching, enables her to create dynamic and effective learning environments. She comes with 3 years of teaching experience from India and also has an international certificate of teaching fueled by a love for exploration. Dhairya enjoys relocating to new places, embracing different cultures, and bringing those experiences into her teaching. Her priorities are to engage in open communication, as well as fostering a collaborative atmosphere to enhance students' understanding and enthusiasm for mathematics. Dhairya's goal is to cultivate a love for learning and curiosity in the next generation, fostering a deep understanding of the interconnected world of science and technology. With a perfect blend of knowledge and enthusiasm, she aspires to be an inspiration, guiding students to explore the boundless possibilities.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
