Jocelyn is the Franchise Owner and Centre Director of Mathnasium of Moncton. She holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s University and a Finance degree from St. Francis Xavier University. Originally from Beijing, she brings professional experience as a CPA and a lifelong dedication to quality education.
Jocelyn is passionate about supporting STEM learning and helping students build a strong foundation in math. She has built a team of experienced instructors who share her commitment to making math fun and accessible. Her goal is to help every child in Greater Moncton succeed by learning math in a way that makes sense to them.
Kim is a retired teacher with over 34 years of classroom experience, primarily in Grades 6–8. Throughout her career, she developed a reputation for using a wide variety of strategies to help struggling learners succeed in math.
Now a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium, Kim brings her love of teaching and deep understanding of math to every session. When she’s not helping students grow in confidence, she enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time in nature.
Cristian, also known as Mauro, is a trilingual francophone student who speaks fluent English, French, and Spanish. Originally from Toronto with Colombian and Chilean roots, he brings a multicultural perspective and a strong passion for math education.
Cristian has prior Mathnasium experience and enjoys helping students build confidence through one-on-one instruction. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, making music, and challenging himself with new math concepts.
Patrick is currently studying mathematics at the Université de Moncton and brings a strong academic foundation to the Mathnasium team. He’s especially passionate about probability and enjoys exploring mathematical patterns and theories.
A local from southeastern New Brunswick, Patrick connects well with students of all ages. He believes in building confidence through clear, consistent instruction. Whether teaching in English or French, he’s committed to helping students make real progress.
Simran joined Mathnasium in 2020 in BC and relocated to Moncton in March 2024. After a few months of getting to know the center and the city in 2024, he has been working full time as an office admin assistant from Jan 2025.
He brings years of experience in center operations and supporting students and families with exceptional care.
Simran is passionate about math and has learned various techniques to help students succeed and solve any problems parents might face. He takes pride in making every visit smooth and welcoming. Outside of work, you’ll often find him cooking or singing, which are his two favorite hobbies!
