Jocelyn Chan

Franchise Owner

Jocelyn is the Centre Director at Mathnasium of Moncton. Prior to opening her Mathnasium centre, Jocelyn worked as a CPA at a few organizations in the region.She has an MBA from Saint Mary's University and a Business Degree major in Finance from St. Francis Xavier University. Born and grown up in Beijng, China, Jocelyn has always valued education and is enthusiastic about bringing good quality learning opportunities to every child in the Greater Moncton community. Understand the important of S.T.E.M learning and seeing so many children struggling with math, Jocelyn is dedicated to help children to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. She has built a strong team with years of experience in teaching and tutoring children of all ages. Jocelyn is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the community and make math FUN!

Kim Roberts

Lead Instructor

I am a retired teacher, having taught mostly Grades 6-8 in my 34 year career. I have always loved Math and have been successful in coming up with a wide variety of strategies to teach a math concept, especially among struggling learners. I lead a very active life and enjoy many sports, traveling, and spending time in nature.

Cristian Serrano

Instructor

My name is Cristian (Mauro) Serrano and I am a francophone student who speaks fluent English, French and Spanish. I am originally from Toronto, and my background is Colombian and Chilean. Having previously worked at Mathnasium and currently as well, I have a passion for Math tutoring. Moreover, I enjoy playing soccer, practicing instruments, and learning and practicing various math concepts!

Patrick Lapierre

Je suis Patrick Lapierre. Originaire de la région du sud-est, je suis présentement étudiant en mathématique de l'université de Moncton. Parmi les sujets du domaime, j'ai une préférence pour les probababilités.

My name is Patrick Lapierre. I am a local from the south-eastern region of New-Brunswick. I am currently studying mathematics at the Université de Moncton at the undergrad level. My prefered mathematic domain is probability.

Simranpreet Singh

Office Admin

Simran has been working with Mathnasium since 2020. He first started in BC and then moved to this location in March 2024. He has a love for Math and has learned many techniques over the years to help students of all ages. He takes full pride in the center management, enrolling parents, training staff, book-keeping and growing the center year by year. His hobbies are cooking and singing.
