Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Hilary

Centre Operations Manager

Hilary is currently studying Chemistry at the University of Regina. With a lifelong love of math, she is passionate about helping others discover how fun and rewarding the subject can be. Her goal is to make math accessible and enjoyable for every student who walks through the door.

When she’s not supporting students or managing day-to-day operations, Hilary enjoys spending time with her dog, Archie, and her family. She also loves reading and doing sudoku puzzles.

Noah

Lead Instructor

Noah is enrolled in the SUNTEP programme at the University of Regina, studying Education. As a proud Métis man from a large family of nine, he brings a strong sense of community and cultural pride to the centre. Math has always been his favorite subject, and he’s excited to share that enthusiasm with students.

He believes that once students understand math, it becomes not only easier but also more enjoyable. Noah is dedicated to helping every child gain confidence through caring guidance and personalized instruction.

Makayla

Instructor

Makayla has recently graduated High School, and is considering a career in either Accounting or Biology. Her favorite subject in school has always math, and that only grew more with each year, especially in her university level AP Calculus class during Grade 12. She wants to help show that math can be very enjoyable, and can eventually become your favorite subject as well! In her spare time, Makayla likes to listen to music, do crossword puzzles, and watch TV.

Jennifer

Instructor

Jennifer is pursuing a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Regina. She is passionate about math and science and believes every student can succeed in math with the right support and encouragement. Her goal is to help students feel excited and confident about learning.

At Mathnasium, Jennifer creates an environment where students can thrive and celebrate their progress. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, weightlifting, and playing volleyball.

Lois

Instructor
Lois has an Education Degree and was both a classroom and substitute teacher. She found that teaching math was her favourite time of the school day. Later she was a Program Coordinator for an agency that provided residential and support services for adults with intellectual disabilities. After retirement and thinking she wanted to do something different, she came to Mathnasium. Lois enjoys golf, curling and travelling, but most of all, her four grandchildren.

Finn

Instructor

Finn is studying Math and Drama Education at the University of Regina, with the goal of becoming a teacher. He has always loved math, and enjoys helping others learn, grow, and reach their full potential. In the future, Finn also hopes to become a police officer. Outside of school Finn is an actor and an athlete. He performs in shows, plays badminton, and does cross country running. In his free time Finn enjoys hiking, geocaching, camping, reading, creative writing, building lego, playing chess, and of course, eating pancakes.

Our Mathnasium Mission
