Ash is the owner of Mathnasium of Rochdale. Before opening the centre, he served as the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Regina & Area, where he led efforts to provide volunteer-based mentoring programmes to youth in Southern Saskatchewan. Seeing firsthand the power of supportive environments, Ash recognized Mathnasium as the perfect way to continue impacting young lives through education.
Having struggled with math as a child, Ash is passionate about helping students understand math in a way that makes sense to them. He believes personalized learning builds both skill and confidence.
Hilary is currently studying Chemistry at the University of Regina. With a lifelong love of math, she is passionate about helping others discover how fun and rewarding the subject can be. Her goal is to make math accessible and enjoyable for every student who walks through the door.
When she’s not supporting students or managing day-to-day operations, Hilary enjoys spending time with her dog, Archie, and her family. She also loves reading and doing sudoku puzzles.
Noah is enrolled in the SUNTEP programme at the University of Regina, studying Education. As a proud Métis man from a large family of nine, he brings a strong sense of community and cultural pride to the centre. Math has always been his favorite subject, and he’s excited to share that enthusiasm with students.
He believes that once students understand math, it becomes not only easier but also more enjoyable. Noah is dedicated to helping every child gain confidence through caring guidance and personalized instruction.
Jennifer is pursuing a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Regina. She is passionate about math and science and believes every student can succeed in math with the right support and encouragement. Her goal is to help students feel excited and confident about learning.
At Mathnasium, Jennifer creates an environment where students can thrive and celebrate their progress. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, weightlifting, and playing volleyball.
Kian has a strong interest in math and enjoy helping others understand it. Kian play's soccer and has been playing for most of his life. It’s something he has always been really passionate about. In his free time, he like socializing, going out with friends and attending as many sports events as possible!
Makayla has recently graduated High School, and is considering a career in either Accounting or Biology. Her favorite subject in school has always math, and that only grew more with each year, especially in her university level AP Calculus class during Grade 12. She wants to help show that math can be very enjoyable, and can eventually become your favorite subject as well! In her spare time, Makayla likes to listen to music, do crossword puzzles, and watch TV.
Jacob has had a strong love for mathematics and problem solving from a young age. He believes math is one of the most powerful subjects and that, with the right guidance and teaching approach, anyone can succeed in it. He is passionate about helping his peers grow, in both academic and personal ways, and makes effort to support others as they work toward their goals. Jacob also enjoys music, spending time socializing with friends, and continually focusing on self-improvement.
