Monis S

Monis completed his Bachelors in Mathematics from University of Waterloo. He loved math for how useful it was from a young age, but he didn't realize until much later that math can be fulfilling on its own without having to apply it to a science or business problem. He loves finding patterns in the world and at times it can make life feel like a scavenger hunt when you have the right tools to spot the more sneaky patterns! He loves teaching and getting students through those "aha" moments that cross the boundary between confusion and understanding. Math is one of the best tools for becoming a more confident problem solver and Monis is here to help you learn as much as possible and then some!

Hirad F

Hirad graduated with a degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Toronto and has 5 years of experience teaching math in Canada across various grades. He has always found math fascinating and enjoys discovering connections between different areas of math and looking at each problem from different angles. He believes everyone has an innate ability to understand mathematical concepts since they permeate all areas of our lives and form the fundamental backbone of our consciousness. In his view, every kid can unlock this potential given enough time and under the guidance of a patient mentor. Hirad enjoys building deep relationships with his students and tailoring his instruction based on each student's needs and capabilities. Besides math, he enjoys studying history and finance.

Hi, I'm Cyrus. A dedicated instructor of mathematics with a passion in physics and math. My journey into math teaching is deeply rooted in the inspiration drawn from exceptional teachers who have shaped my own educational path. With a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, I bring a strong educational background to simplify complex concepts and to impart this knowledge and perspective to aspiring minds. I believe my relatively young age is an advantage, as it facilitates the building of strong and relatable connections with students. This closeness in age fosters an environment where questions are encouraged, and learning becomes a collaborative journey. I look forward to embarking on this educational journey together, fostering a passion for learning and helping students achieve their academic goals.
