As current public health issues require families to begin distance learning, our new service, Mathnasium@home, allows students to continue to get the same face-to-face Mathnasium instruction you find in the learning centre — from anywhere there’s an internet connection.
Developed over 3 years for customers who had obstacles to bringing their children consistently into centres, thousands of students have already found Mathnasium@home to be as effective as in-centre learning.
With Mathnasium@home:
- You get the same instructors and Mathnasium Method you know from our centre, with real-time, face-to-face, web-based math instruction.
- Learning can happen anywhere there’s an internet connection.
We are pleased to offer this service to all our customers beginning Monday March 30. This will certainly help families weather the current school closures and social distancing protocols.
Any outstanding hours/sessions for March will be added to your April allocation.

The requirements for Mathnasium@home are:
- Laptop/desktop/chromebook. Tablets, ipads or smartphones are NOT suitable;
- Google Chrome or FireFox web browsers. NOT Microsoft Edge or Safari;
- Webcam, microphone and speakers. A headset is recommended but not essential;
- A standard mouse. Writing tablets, graphing tablets, digital pens and/or smart pens are acceptable but NOT mandatory;
- A gmail address is required for login to the virtual classroom;
- An email invitation will be sent 5 minutes before the session's start time.
