No Matter What

We are gearing up for this year's Terry Fox Run to be held at Boyd Park in Woodbridge!

As a business owner, I know it is important to get involved in the community in which we are located however, the Terry Fox Run is more than just community involvement to me.

In 2018, my father was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of prostate cancer. This was a surprise to our entire family as he was such an active individual and it seemed there were no outward signs that his health was deteriorating. We did not know that the time we would have left together was short and that he would spend the majority of it in the ICU at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket. While the seven months he was in the hospital were emotionally taxing, I am so thankful for that time as we were able to spend time together as a family and enjoy the time we had left.

It is for my dad that I am doing the Terry Fox Run. I am doing it to honour his memory and to contribute to the fight of so many others.
