Tenequa Gabriel, Owner & Center Director
Tenequa Gabriel received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. After graduating, Tenequa worked as an IT Developer in the High Tech industry for over 10 years. After receiving her Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from Southern Methodist University, Tenequa transitioned into Human Resources where she held a variety roles as a HR Generalist and in Staffing and Compensation.
From her years working in High Tech, Tenequa understands the need for students to have a solid foundation in math. She strongly believes that developing fundamental math skills can help unlock a student's potential and open doors to many different career opportunities.
Tenequa is excited about offering an engaging environment at Mathnasium of Cedar Hill where students can learn math in a way that makes sense. Tenequa has worked with the youth at her church for over a decade. She enjoys helping kids and is looking forward to witnessing many light bulb moments in the lives of her students.

Larry has spent his entire career finding a better way to teach math. From inner city public schools, to acclaimed magnet schools, to leading private and parochial schools, Larry has served as both a classroom teacher and as an educational consultant. He has designed curriculum, teaching strategies, and teaching materials in order to help students and teachers learn mathematics more effectively. He has trained teachers in the art and science of boosting students' ability to "do" math, thereby increasing students' math scores and feeling of self-worth. Larry is the developer of MATHNASIUM's educational program- one of the most comprehensive and innovative curriculums ever produced for teaching math.
