Tenequa earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and later received her MBA in Human Resources from Southern Methodist University. She was an IT Developer before transitioning into Human Resources, with roles in staffing, compensation, and as an HR Generalist. From her years in high tech, she understands how essential strong math skills are for future success.
Passionate about helping students, Tenequa has also worked for over a decade with youth at her church. At Mathnasium, she is excited to create an engaging environment where students develop skills, unlock potential, and experience “light bulb” moments of understanding.
Annette is a retired math teacher with Duncanville Independent School District and brings years of classroom experience to Mathnasium. Her favorite math topic is solving algebraic expressions, and she enjoys sharing strategies that make problem-solving clear and approachable for students.
Outside of teaching, Annette loves reading, working in her yard, and even competing in ballroom dance. She enjoys showing students that math can be as elegant and structured as the hobbies she loves. A favorite math fact she shares is how multiplying ones always creates palindromic numbers.
Susan is a retired math teacher with Desoto Independent School District. Her favorite math topic is the Pythagorean Theorem, which she enjoys teaching because of its clarity and real-world applications. With years of experience, she brings patience and encouragement to every lesson.
In her free time, Susan enjoys quilting, gardening, and spending time with her cats. She believes humor helps students connect with math and often shares her favorite joke: “Old mathematicians never die; they just lose some of their functions.”
Nereah is a student at The University of Texas at Arlington purusing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
Samantha is currently a student at Mountainview College pursuing a degree in the sciences.
Aiza is a student at the University of Texas at Arlington pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a double minor in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.
Dionn is currently a student at TWU pursing a degree in Finance.
