On-Campus Learning Resumes This Week for SDUSD Students!

Apr 15, 2021 | Chula Vista

San Diego Unified School District re-opened its doors this week on Monday, April 12th, over one year after closing its classrooms due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This is a great opportunity for families to reflect on a year of transition, while getting used to an entirely new schedule. Has virtual learning been a good fit for your family? Is your student better suited to in-person learning, or do they prefer a hybrid model?

Regardless of your chosen transition, we are here to support you!

The COVID-19 Slide has created a dramatic loss in learning for students -- with many losing up to a year of academic skills.

At Mathnasium of Chula Vista, we can evaluate your student's math competency using a grade-level assessment, to see how their learning has been affected. We have seen that many of our students are experiencing wide gaps in math. Those who were already behind pre-pandemic have now fallen even further, which has left them feeling stressed and frustrated.

Using their assessment, we create a customized learning plan that will help students build the foundation they need to conquer their math woes, and feel more confident and capable overall.

Don't miss out this summer! There is no better time to catch up on learning lost.
