Steven Gist

Center Director

Steven Gist is the Center Director at the Mathnasium of Collegeville. He completed his AS in Mathematics and Secondary Education. He completed his undergraduate studies at Chestnut Hill College with a degree in Accounting and Financial Management. Steve has a long history of working and teaching children and young adults in both a formal education setting and in practical applications. He is passionate about seeing success in others and watching them grow to succeed and reach their goals. Today, Steven works with the rest of the exceptional staff at the Mathnasium of Collegeville to create the best learning experience possible for their students. His goal, as always, is to provide the best instruction possible and lead a team of motivated, friendly, and compassionate instructors to help every child become successful in their mathematics education.

Sivin Mathew

Instructor

Sivin's love for math and his continued excellence in the subject throughout school prompted him to get a Bachelors's and Master's in Applied Mathematics - Engineering. He developed a deep level of respect for the teaching process during his university days while tutoring math courses to college-level students. Watching children's expressions of wonder when they master complex topics using simple tricks is his main reason to join the Mathnasium family. He hopes to emulate the same level of ease and fondness for the subject among his students. He is a believer in every student's potential and knows that any student can reach their potential with the right guidance.

Aditya Pasumarthi

Instructor

A current student in the Methacton High School, Aditya has become an enthusiastic learner in many subjects such as Math, Science, and Business. Aditya loves to find solutions to problems using simple, yet effective techniques in all aspects of life (especially in Math). As a student himself, Aditya understands the thought process many children use. By using this knowledge and adding constructive tips and tricks, he is able to help students formulate the best plan to solve every problem. In addition to teaching, Aditya loves playing basketball, football, and cricket as well as chinese checkers and monopoly. Aditya’s goal is to help each student reach their greatest potential, and he hopes to make each student’s experience the best it can be each and every day.

Vienna Li

Instructor

Vienna is a high school student at Perkiomen Valley High School. She is immensely eager to aid any of the students she works with. Working with kids is her greatest passion. Outside of the realm of teaching, Vienna loves working with others and has a deep interest in medicine and the environment. She is a part of her school’s Big Brothers Big Sisters program where she works with various kids one-on-one and Envirothon where she advances her knowledge about the Earth. Vienna is always excited and looking forward to working with every child, helping them to achieve proficiency in math.

Sophia Germany

Instructor

Sophia is a student in the Spring-Ford School District. Sophia excels in mathematics, completing algebra and geometry courses 2 years earlier than the average student. Sophia is also a product of Mathnasium, which has helped her accelerate her math studies. She is excited to help kids learn and grow a love for math. Sophia believes that everyone deserves a chance to be good at math because it is a core skill that is intertwined with everything that we do in our lives. She hopes she can help everyone get that chance to succeed in their school endeavors.

Carly Elmer

Instructor

Carly is a high school student at Perkiomen Valley High School. She is an enthusiastic learner and instructor who enjoys watching students learn to love math as much as she does. Carly hopes to individualize each student's experience and help students to better understand the importance of math in the real world. Outside of Mathnasium, she is an avid leader on her school’s varsity field hockey team, Link Crew, and a member of the National Honors Society. She is eager to encourage students to reach their fullest potential and hopes to make each student’s experience better every day.

Keerti Gudipalli

Instructor

Keerti majored in Psychology and is pursuing a career in medicine. She enjoys working with children and loves to see them understand a concept so they can apply it. As she struggled with math throughout her high school career, she not only relates to the struggles of our students but also has now mastered the concepts needed to help students get better at math. She believes math is a foundational subject in academics and in life and is determined to see students succeed at Mathnasium.

Ashmi Jena

Instructor

Ashmi is a high school student at Spring-Ford High School. She is passionate about math and has a fondness for working with younger students. Creating a fun and delightful math environment for the students is extremely important to her. Outside of teaching, Ashmi has a love for Dance, she trains in 6 different forms. At school she is a part of various clubs including DECA, National Honors Society, and Student Council. She enjoys working with people and volunteers at an upper living home almost every weekend. Her goal is to develop a mindset for students that with the right guidance, anyone can be successful at math.

Meadow Conser

Instructor

Meadow is a high school student at Perkiomen Valley High School. Meadow has a passion for math and loves helping others understand it. When she isn’t teaching, Meadow enjoys playing guitar and spending time with her friends. She is also a member of the Key Club and Link Crew. She plans to continue her math studies in college. Working with kids has always been something she enjoys and she believes learning math can be a fun, enjoyable and rewarding experience for all students.
