What do we want most for our Mathnasium students?

Easy, we want them to walk into their math class this fall prepared and with confidence - not just "getting by," but thriving and excelling!

There is a problem though.  

Have you read the NWEA’s projections of what the major academic impacts from COVID closures are going to be on our students?  (In part: "Especially in mathematics, students are likely to show much smaller learning gains, returning with less than 50% of the learning gains and in some grades, nearly a full year behind what we would observe in normal conditions.")  

And: "This situation is going to be like what is often called the summer slide, but on steroids,” a school superintendent told NPR. Some are even calling this the "COVID Slide."

But there is a solution.

At Mathnasium, we will continue to do whatever it takes to teach and advance our students during and after this interruption, both via live video-conference now, and once we return to our center in the near future.

Through our personalized instruction, customized learning plans, and engaging face-to-face instruction, our students typically rise one grade level in math every 6 months.
