Cynthia, Center Director
Cynthia is originally from New Jersey and has lived in the valley since 1995. She is married with children and grandchildren. Her love of working with people has taken her through different paths in her career from Salon & Spa to Retail Management and now as a Director of Mathnasium. Her time away from the center is spent with her family and enjoying her yoga and meditation practices. She also has a great passion for cooking as she is a graduate of the Culinary Institute with a degree in Culinary Arts and French Cuisine. Her goal at Mathnasium is to make sure that each student and their family have a positive successful experience in our center, while ensuring that our staff continues to enjoy the wonderful working atmosphere that we have built over the last few years.

Mandy has worked for Mathnasium for 7 years and she has worked at the Gilbert East Center for 3 years. She graduated from Brigham Young University – Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She has always loved teaching and helping others. She loves to work with kids. In her free time, she likes to read, watch movies, and work on genealogy.

Anthony is attending ASU majoring in Electrical Systems Engineering. He loves math, teaching, and helping others reach their highest potential! In his spare time he enjoys playing video games or reading books!

Hafsa is a recent graduate of Highland High School and is currently enrolled at Mesa Community College. She later plans on pursuing a career in Nursing. In her spare time she loves to read, cook and factor polynomials. As a tutor, she plans on helping students enjoy and understand math like Mathnasium has done for her.

Alvin is currently a senior at Highland High School and hopes to pursue an education in engineering in the future. He loves working with kids and passing on his passion for math. In his free time, Alvin enjoys volunteering, hanging out with his friends, and binge-watching shows like Friends.
Hudhayfah is a senior attending BASIS Chandler and will be graduating soon and going into Premed. He enjoys solving math problems and helping others through regular volunteering. He has competed in Mathcounts as well as in Science Olympiad, reaching Nationals in Science Olympiad, reaching Nationals in Science Olympiad.
