Calvin

Math Instructor
Calvin is currently a senior in high school who has taken college-level math courses. With prior experience in teaching and tutoring, he is skilled in simplifying complex topics. As a Mathnasium instructor, he is dedicated to nurturing a love for math in young minds. Fav Math Joke: "Why did the student do multiplication problems on the floor? -- The teacher said they needed to practice doing them without tables!". Fun Fact: Beyond math, he does a lot of coding, which also requires a lot of math knowledge.

Mandy

Math Instructor
Mandy has worked for Mathnasium for more than ten years now! She graduated from Brigham Young University – Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has always loved teaching and helping others. She loves to work with kids. In her free time, she likes to read, watch movies, and work on genealogy. Fun Fact: She has kissed the Blarney Stone.

Nathan

Math Instructor
Nathan is currently a junior at Arizona State University, where he's pursuing a double major in Data Science and Biological Sciences with a focus on Genetics, Cells, and Development. His coursework includes advanced math classes like Calculus III, Linear Algebra, and Statistics, which have deepened his appreciation for math. He is passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and seeing the excitement on their faces when they solve a problem and learn something new. Fav Math joke: "Parallel lines have so much in common... it's a shame they'll never meet". Fun Facts: Outside of academics, he enjoys baking, discovering new recipes, crocheting, and listening to music!

Otoño

Math Instructor
Otono is currently attending Gilbert High School as a senior and plans to go into ASU for the major of manufacturing systems. He is passionate about teaching math because it is important for students to solve many different problems as efficiently as possible. His dream since Kindergarten has always been to make a game. He also plays modded Minecraft which sparked his interest in manufacturing systems. Fav Math Joke: Can an English major simplify the reciprocal of sine? Cosecant! (‘Course he can’t) Fun Fact: His name means Autumn in Spanish!

Reagan

Math Instructor
Reagan is currently a junior at Higley High School and is taking AP Calculus AB. She is passionate about being an instructor at Mathnasium because she loves helping people. She finds working with the kids there to be amazing and they just make her really happy. When she is not working, you will find her reading, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her cats Ginger and Bodi.
