Ellie brings years of Mathnasium experience and a deep love for helping students succeed. She is currently pursuing a degree in Community and Educational Leadership through St. Petersburg College Online, with a focus on interdisciplinary studies.
She believes great teaching involves helping students discover their potential and find joy in learning. Ellie is passionate about building meaningful connections and creating a positive space where studnets grow in confidence and mathematical understanding. Outside of work, Ellie loves to travel. You will typically find her visiting her hometown of Tampa, Florida or at Disney!
Nathan earned his Bachelor's of Science in Data Science with an emphasis in math and Biological Sciences (Genetics, Cells, and Development) in May 2026 at Arizona State University. He is passionate about connecting with students and watching them develop confidence in math. He loves working at Mathnasium because he believes students should have a space where they feel supported by instructors to help them achieve their goals. In his free time, Nathan likes going to concerts, playing pool and pickleball, and trying new coffee shops.
Dylan is a former Engineering Apprentice with the U.S. Air Force and has completed calculus coursework at both the high school and college level. He plans to finish his degree in computer science at the University of Arizona.
Known for his supportive nature, Dylan has always helped classmates overcome math struggles and loves seeing those “aha!” moments. His favorite math joke? “Why should you be cautious around a math teacher with graphing paper? They're definitely plotting something!” Outside of work, Dylan enjoys running, hiking, and staying active. He competed in track and cross-country for six years.
Mandy brings more than ten years of experience with Mathnasium and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University–Idaho.
She’s passionate about helping students learn and thrive, especially when they discover new ways to approach math problems. Mandy loves working with children and creates a positive, encouraging environment in every session. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and working on genealogy. Fun fact: she’s kissed the Blarney Stone!
Otoño graduated Gilbert High School in 2025 and is now attending ASU for Actuarial Science. He was in advanced math classes in high school, completing Calculus III and Differential Equations his senior year. Otoño believes that the main barrier to learning math is showing that the student will be using it outside of the classroom. He is passionate about being an instructor at Mathnasium because he has loved math since he was a kid, and he really enjoys seeing the students grow in their abilities. Otoño has enjoyed programming video games since he was in 2nd grade, and he really likes sour candy. Math joke: sqrt(-1) 2^3 Σ π, and it was delicious (i 8 sum pi -> I ate some pie).
