Zack, Instructor

Zack has joined our team since 2018. He is currently attending Cal Poly, Pomona, working towards a computer science degree. For Zack, math is a tool to help him make sense of the world, and he wishes to inspire the students of Mathnasium to truly understand how powerful this tool can be. He understands the monotony of the building blocks of mathematics, yet he refuses to let that take the fun out of it. Zack loves to involve music in his life whenever possible, whether he’s making it, dancing to it, or just a casual listener.

She will soon be graduating this upcoming Spring 2019 and would like to further her education and obtain a Masters in Mathematics to later become a Math teacher as well. She has always like working with kids and showing them different ways in which they can learn math and find out which way is easier for them. Math has always been her favorite subject and what better way to use it than here helping students learn and excel in it.

Jesus, Instructor

Jesus has joined our team since 2019. He is currently attending Cal Poly, Pomona, working towards a Chemical Engineering degree. He heard from too many people that math is a subject that is "too hard".  He always envied the joy that his math teachers got whenever they helped a struggling student truly understand a challenging concept.  He wanted to experience this feeling himself, and so when he was looking for a job, he looked for a place that was committed to making math make sense to kids who were being challenged by the subject.  He found Mathnasium - and, we are so glad that he did!

Jesus is a hardcore Disney fan, and has quite a collection of Disney pins.

When she is not at Mathnasium she is working at Sandburg Middle School as an AVID tutor and helps coach 10 and under softball. During her spare time she enjoys being active, healthy, and helping others.
