Our Mathnasium of Huntersville Team
The Mathnasium of Huntersville Team is a group of passionate math educators and tutors dedicated to not only teaching math in a way that makes sense but simultaneously building confidence in kids. Our instructors teach kids but also act as a mentor for children, helping them to understand the importance of math in their everyday lives. Our team is specialized and meticulously trained to not only make math make sense but make it fun!
Our process for becoming an Instructor at Mathnasium includes...
- An extensive interview process and siting for an employment exam designed specifically to test an individual’s math knowledge. All of our instructors must be extensively verse in material from elementary math through high school (and often beyond)!
- Before being given an offer as an Instructor, a thorough background check is conducted for all instructors that work at Mathnasium.
- After joining our Team, each Mathnasium Instructor undergoes extensive training including teaching each of them the Mathnasium Method, the best approach for teaching specific math concepts to kids, techniques for our effective Team Teaching process, and best practices for providing personalized instruction to kids based on their specific skills and needs.
Regardless of whether or not a student excels in math or struggles, our instructors are relentlessly trained and developed to provide the utmost level of quality in education and support for each child enrolled at Mathnasium.
Members of our Team include active and retired teachers, exceptional college students as well as high school students gifted in math. Hiring team members that are exceptional in the subject and passionate about teaching kids in a way that makes sense is our utmost priority here at Mathnasium.

Very pleased with Mathnasium, my high schooler has recently brought her 74 up to a 94 in math. This is the first time she has ever had an A in math and its all because of how much better the teaching techniques are at Mathnasium than in her public school. I only wish we would have signed up sooner for Mathnasium.

The instructors make learning fun. They provide a stress free environment, one on one tutoring and different instructors to reinforce the content. Mathnasium helped my granddaughter tremendously! They targeted her weak areas and helped her stay on point at school during the process. They really built her confidence in a short time. Her grades at school proved their help was successful! It was a pleasant experience for all of us. I would highly recommend them for any student struggling with math!

We moved here from Denton, Texas, where my son first started Mathnasium, and it was a noticable improvement! They seemed to be able to reach him and help him here in a way they couldn't there. Sadly we're moving to Atlanta but I would definitely recommend the Huntersville NC location! They're great!

Amanda and the staff at Mathnasium have been wonderful! They have completely turned my son’s view of Math around. He loves Math now and is determined to be a success! The staff is extremely helpful to my child. The plan for her studying is idea in that it helps her strengthen her weaker math elements while building confidence. She was nervous to go because she doesn’t like math, but after just a couple visits, she looks forward to going to Mathnasium. The staff, the prizes, the positive reinforcement is all working well for her.

We are thrilled for our daughter and her progress in math since she started Mathnasium. Math has always been difficult for her and we have done our best as parents to provided her with tutors and anything extra to help her. Nothing has really seemed to work until now. We have seen her grade in math stabilize, rather than the ups and downs and her understanding becoming clearer. By far the greatest out come has been we have noticed her confidence in herself and self esteem soar as she no longer has as much frustration .

Huntersville Mathnasium has really helped my 4th grader. My daughter's math skills were extremely low and she had problems focusing. However, in just a few weeks she was figuring out problems on her own. The people at Mathnasium gave my child the confidence she needed to no longer be afraid of math.

Class helped my daughter a lot, she got better in the areas where she was struggling. We received regular progress reports.
The only negative experience I think i can share is ... We sent an email to the mgmt about stopping mathnesium and asking if there was anything else we needed to provide to stop the class gracefully. We never received any response till date. We however received this invitation to submit your feedback via survey.
