Audra Dingle is a graduate of Pfeiffer University with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences. She has tutored math for students from elementary through college, starting at her church for two years before expanding into private tutoring.
Audra’s goal is to help students truly understand math, gain confidence, and see that math can be fun and rewarding. Her enthusiasm for learning continues to grow as she explores new concepts to better support every student she teaches.
Al is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling at the University of North Carolina, specializing in school counseling and special education. They bring a strong passion for student success and data-driven learning to the Mathnasium team.
Outside of Mathnasium, Al works at the Carolina Renaissance Festival, where they direct and supervise the teen performance troupe. Their dedication to fostering creativity and growth helps their students thrive both academically and personally.
Amanda is the proud owner of Mathnasium of Huntersville and Mathnasium of Mooresville. She holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Engineering, from NC State and Virginia Tech respectively.
With over a decade of experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages, Amanda is passionate about helping children understand math in a way that makes sense to them. She’s dedicated to sharing her love of math and bringing the Mathnasium Method™ to her community.
Gillian is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She’s loved math since childhood and believes that with the right support, every student can discover that same joy.
Her goal is to help students build confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom. She enjoys seeing the moment when math finally ‘clicks’ for her students. Gillian’s warm, encouraging teaching style helps students grow both academically and personally.
Carol has decades of teaching experience at the high school and college levels, including earning Teacher of the Year honors in South Florida. After teaching in Saint Louis for 10 years, she relocated to North Carolina to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren.
Her most treasured memory is receiving a note from a student that said, “Thank you for helping me learn to love math!”, which is a goal she continues to achieve every day at Mathnasium.
George graduated from North Carolina A and T State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering. Throughout his professional career George has worked in many professions but a major focus of his has been education. George began his education career as an Assistant Professor at Northern Virginia Community College. In his most recent position he was a 4th grade math, science and social studies teacher in Las Vegas, NV. George has a passion for helping others and contributing positively to his community.
Jack is a rising senior at Woodlawn School in Mooresville and has a deep passion for mathematics. After experiencing the transformative impact of Mathnasium for himself, he felt inspired to share that joy and growth with others. He has always taken pleasure in assisting his friends and classmates with their studies, and he is eager to extend his support to the broader community. Upon graduating from high school, Jack plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering, where he hopes to apply his love for math and problem-solving in innovative ways.
Hi, I’m Kennedy! I’m a rising senior at Hough High School for the 2025–2026 school year. I’m currently studying AP Pre-Calculus and love helping others build confidence in math. I also tutor at my school and enjoy making tricky concepts click. I’m excited to work with students at Mathnasium and help them grow their skills—and maybe even have some fun with math along the way!
Nic is a recent graduate of Wingate University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Throughout college, she worked as a private tutor, helping students build confidence and master challenging concepts. Nic has also spent many years working with children — from leading Sunday school at her church to inspiring curiosity at summer camps. She’s passionate about making math fun and approachable, just as her favorite teachers once did for her.
Ben is a senior at Woodlawn School in Mooresville and has always enjoyed helping others make sense of challenging concepts. Currently taking two advanced math courses, he’s passionate about problem-solving and sharing that excitement with others. Ben looks forward to helping Mathnasium students understand math in a clear, engaging way that builds both skill and confidence.
Andrew is a senior at Hough High School and is currently taking Linear Algebra at Central Piedmont Community College. He enjoys helping students grasp new concepts and build confidence in their math abilities. With experience tutoring his peers, Andrew loves seeing that “lightbulb moment” when challenging ideas start to click. He’s excited to work with Mathnasium students and help them develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of math.
Anika is a senior at Lake Norman Charter and is currently taking AP Calculus BC. She has experience teaching and mentoring students as a swim coach, camp counselor, and now a math tutor. She enjoys helping students build confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills. With experience tutoring her peers, Anika loves seeing the growth and progress that students make over time. Her favorite moments at Mathnasium have been witnessing her students’ development and strengthened understanding of math.
