Virtual Math Night

January 22nd - 6pm - 7pm

The value of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education is increasing year by year. According to a study conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2016, college graduates aged 25–29 with STEM degrees had some of the highest median annual earnings in comparison to college graduates with other degrees. As the foundation of all other STEM subjects, giving students a strong math background is an essential part of a STEM education. Mathnasium, the area’s math-only learning center, is dedicated to helping children learn and master math.

“Parents and students frequently request programming that reinforces STEM subjects,” says Paige Konsul, Center Director at Mathnasium Mooresville. “We’re thrilled to provide a virtual event where families can enjoy math games together and discover STEM talents and interests."

Parent's are encouraged to attend this virtual event with their elementary-age kids so that they can learn how to have fun with math as well! The games that we'll play at our Virtual Math Night are ones that parents will be able to take and continue to use to reinforce math skills foor their kids.
