@HannahKoontz11 shared an awesome example of Math in the Real World on TikTok in a video titled "How much do you have to spend to reach Chick-fil-A Signature Status??" The video breaks down the math behind figuring out how much you have to spend on Chick-fil-A to reach Signature Status. Let's take a look at the math she shared!
0 - 1,000 Points
You receive 10 points for every dollar you spend.
10X - 1,000 where X is the number of dollars necessary to reach the top of Member status.
X = 100
1,001 - 4,000 Points
You receive 11 points for every dollar you spend.
11X = 4,000 - 1,000
11X = 3,000
X = 272.73
At this point you spent $100 (at the Member Level) and $272.73 (at the Silver Level) for a total of $372.73.
4,001 - 10,000 Points
12X = 10,000 - 4,000
12X = 6,000
X = 500
At this point you spent $100 (at the Member Level), $272.73 (at the Silver Level) and $500 (at the Red Level) for a total of $872.73.
10,001+ Points
Now you're at Signature Status! Spend $872.73 and you have earned 10,000+ points to become the highest level of Chick-fil-A member status.
