Kim has led Mathnasium of Acworth since 2021 and also owns Mathnasium of North Marietta. Having struggled with math growing up, she’s passionate about helping kids make sense of it and gain confidence. She carefully selects instructors, creates a positive learning space, and ensures every student is supported.
Kim is married with two teenage boys and enjoys volunteering at church, schools, and a local food pantry. Her favorite part of the job? Watching students light up when they finally “get it.” She believes math can change lives and that includes her own.
Dylan has a passion for both math and design. She enjoys helping others understand math and believes every problem has a creative solution.
A self-proclaimed math nerd, she’s memorized all the perfect squares up to 100! Her favorite number is 3, thanks to a family tradition of threes. Her math joke? “Math teachers have too many problems.”
Andrew is a Computer Science major attending Kennesaw State University, and joined Mathnasium of Acworth in 2024. He has always had a huge passion for math and enjoys learning new ways to solve equations. When not working on math, Andrew enjoys programming and singing!
Favorite Math Joke: Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 8 9!
Ethan is studying Computer Science at Kennesaw State University and enjoys helping students build confidence through math. Whether he’s tackling tough problems or playing Magic: The Gathering, Ethan brings focus and creativity to everything he does. He loves using humor to make learning fun, ask him, “Why does algebra make you a better dancer? Because you can use algo-rhythm!”
His ability to explain complex concepts clearly makes him a favorite among students.
Muyi is a Computer Science major at Kennesaw State University and joined Mathnasium of Acworth in 2025. He’s currently studying Discrete Math and enjoys exploring how math and logic connect. Outside of class, he dabbles in music production, philosophy, and cooking.
Muyi is known for his humor and creativity, often lightening the mood with jokes like: “I got into a bad fight with a 90-degree angle, turns out it was right!” He enjoys helping students gain confidence and clarity in math.
Abby is a freshman at Kennesaw State University. She is planning to major in business before attending culinary school! Some facts about her are that she enjoys reading, does marching band, and enjoys listening to music in other languages. She likes working at the mathnasium because she loves teaching and loves helping others.
Favorite math joke - Why was the math book so sad? Because it had so many problems!
Kaitlyn is a senior at North Paulding High School and plans on going to Georgia Tech after graduating. She's majoring in both Sociology and Public Policy, then going to law school to pursue a career as a lawyer. A fun fact about her: "I am a huge nerd! I love mystery and fantasy books." Kaitlyn is passionate for helping grow kids' understanding and love for math.
Favorite Math Joke - 7 ate 9 because you're supposed to eat 3 square meals a day.
Naomi is a sophomore at North Paulding High School, and plans on attending University of Georgia after graduation. She enjoys reading and traveling, and loves mathnasium because it's a great way to help kids learn math. Her favorite math joke is: "Why did 7 eat 9? Because you're supposed to eat 3 square meals a day!"
Steele is a senior at Allatoona High School. After graduation, he plans on attending Georgia Tech to pursue a career in engineering. Some of Steele's hobbies include playing volleyball and working out. He likes Mathnasium because it aims to help students learn and enjoy math!
Favorite math joke: "There are 3 kinds of people in the world. People who can count and people who can't".
Mars is a graduate of the University of Tampa. She would love to have a masters in education, since she enjoys traveling and would love to teach english. Mars likes Mathnasium because she enjoys watching students' confidence boost as they reach their full potential in math.
Favorite math joke: "Knows what seems odd to me? Numbers that aren't divisible by 2!"
Joshua is a student at the University of Georgia who brings energy and enthusiasm to every session. He enjoys making math approachable for students and seeing them grow more confident each day.
Whether helping with fractions or factoring, he aims to make math less stressful, and a lot more fun. He says, “Why did the student do multiplication problems on the floor? The teacher told him not to use tables!”
