Miles graduated UC Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In his free time he enjoys watching movies, reading and taking classes at community college.
Christie graduated from CSU Chico with a BA in Humanities. In her free time she enjoys biking, baking cookies and playing in the park with her nieces and nephew.
Maddy is in her second year at UC Berkeley working towards an applied math degree. She loves the satisfaction that comes with solving a particularly difficult math problem and getting to learn about problem solving as a whole. In her free time, she loves reading, playing field hockey, and spending time outside.
Zoe is a high school student in Albany. She likes that math can help you solve real life problems, and that there often is more than one way to get to the solution. She enjoys helping students find new ways to get to the solution. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, biking, and making art.
Ezra is a sophomore at Albany High School enrolled in Math 2/3. He enjoys using the critical thinking and logical reasoning required to solve math problems. In his free time, he enjoys running the mile, playing the clarinet, and solving Rubik's cubes as fast as possible.
Hao always found math the most exciting subject and later dwelled in the world of physics, as it is highly interconnected with mathematics. His interest in math and physics inspired him to study Aerospace Engineering at UC Berkeley. With much experience supporting friends with math problems through his K12 education, he found it very satisfying to elucidate those who were confused about the subject.
Harsheet is in his junior year at Albany High School. He enjoys listening to music, traveling and playing tennis. He likes math because its influence over many fields like science, engineering and finance.
Oliver is a junior at El Cerrito High School. Some of his hobbies include playing the French horn, playing with his dog, and spending time with his friends. He has completed AP Calculus BC and is going to take multivariable calculus at a local community college soon. He has a passion for mathematics and hopes to major in it once he goes off to college.
Tiegan is a student at Albany High School where she enjoys learning alongside her classmates. As an instructor at Mathnasium, Tiegan finds satisfaction in helping students build solid strategies to solve math problems. Outside of school, Tiegan loves to spend time with friends and family, snowboard, golf, draw and read.
Suvanjan, a third-year student at Albany High School, is passionate about helping the next generation with math, aiming to make it relevant to everyday life. Outside of academics, he enjoys working out, listening to music, and spending time with friends. While math is his favorite subject, he also has a keen interest in computers.
Daniel is a Senior at Albany High School where he takes Calculus BC. In his spare time he enjoys playing video games, running and listening to music.
Rojina is a Junior at Albany High School. When she's not busy with school and work, she enjoys reading, listening to music and cooking. She loves cooking pasta with her Mom!
Takeo is currently studying computer science at Diablo Valley Community College. He loves to hand out with friends, play video games and work out.
