Hank

Instructor

Hank is currently a student at Pasadena High School. He plans to attend either a UC or private out of state college where he will study in the architecture and business fields. As a former Mathnasium student and an extrovert, Hank has an understanding and love for the way that Mathnasium not only helps students build off of their foundational knowledge, but provides them with meaningful and lasting methods of problem solving. Having a friendly personality and understanding each student’s situation helps him get a sense of how to best help them. Hank's hobbies outside of work include bodybuilding, cooking, watching his favorite series on repeat, and thrifting!

Katie

Instructor
Katie currently attends Crescenta Valley High School and plans to major in computer science in college. Some of Katie's favorite STEM classes include calculus, linear algebra, and physics. In Katie's free time, she likes to play the flute, badminton, and create oil paintings.

Leigh

Instructor

Leigh is a recent high school graduate who will be pursuing a degree in Art History at Reed College. She has been tutoring at the middle school she attended since her sophomore year of high school and specializes in math test prep. Michelle

Instructor

Michelle is currently studying math at Pasadena City College. She intends to pursue a career in math education because she believes it is important to teach as it is the gateway into logic, problem solving, and with the right guidance, it builds people’s confidence and trust in their own reasoning skills. Her goal is to share that with students and help them become lovers of math like herself! In her free time, Michelle likes to bake, sing, hang out with friends, and run the philosophy club at her school.

Patrick's plan after PCC includes transferring to a 4 year University after obtaining his Associates Degree. Some of Patrick's hobbies include playing chess, traveling, sketching, and going to amusement parks!

Vy

Instructor

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
