Clay Boura

Owner
Clay Boura is a loving husband (to co-owner & Center Director Sheri Boura) and father of 3 residing in the Mitten State. Growing up, Clay developed a love for the arts and at the age of 12, created his very own cartoon character named "Beamer". Clay continued drawing Beamer and, in 2014 at the age of 35, Clay realized a lifelong dream when he wrote, illustrated and self-published his very first children's book: Leave it to Beamer Presents: Don't Let the Cat Out of the Bag. As a children's Author & illustrator, Clay spent the next 10 years writing, illustrating and self-publishing additional titles in the Leave it to Beamer book series and spent time working with kids and sharing his passion with them. It was at this point that he realized that he wanted to dedicate his life to working with and inspiring kids to follow their passions and dreams and to improve their outlooks on life. This, coupled with an amazing wife who spent 20+ years as a teacher and an educator, led Clay to discovering Mathnasium. And the rest, as they say, is history!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
