Sarla is the Owner and Center Director of Mathnasium of Annandale. She is passionate about helping students develop confidence in math and believes every child can succeed when given the right tools and support.
Sarla is dedicated to making math make sense and ensuring families in the Annandale community have a trusted resource for math success.
Brayden was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia, and comes from a large family with six older siblings. Homeschooled through high school, he developed a strong love for teaching and enjoys helping students understand and succeed in math.
Outside of Mathnasium, Brayden spends his time enjoying music, sports, and video games.
Ashia is a senior at WT Woodson High School with a passion for space and engineering. She hopes to study engineering in college and eventually become a rocket scientist. Ashia loves math because it gives her the chance to problem-solve, and she enjoys tutoring because it allows her to work with others to make tough concepts understandable.
In her free time, she likes reading, listening to music, building Legos, and spending time with friends.
Jackson is a sophomore at Woodson High School and has lived in five different states due to his father’s Navy career. He has three siblings and plays soccer for both his high school and a club team.
Math has always been his favorite subject, and he enjoys helping other students gain clarity and confidence in their math skills.
Patricio is a high school senior with plans to study international affairs in college. Bilingual in English and Spanish and currently learning Arabic, he loves connecting with people across cultures.
At Mathnasium, he’s passionate about making math accessible and boosting students’ confidence. In his free time, he enjoys working out and exploring different cultures.
