  The earlier, the better. Because the MCAP measures cumulative math understanding built over the school year, students benefit most from consistent, ongoing support rather than last-minute preparation. 

  Ideally, students should begin working with us at the start of the school year or semester. This gives us time to identify and address any knowledge gaps, build foundational skills, and ensure students are progressing steadily toward grade-level mastery well before test day.

• Do you prepare students for college admissions math tests like the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT®?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Annapolis prepares high school students for the math sections of the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT®. 

  Our specially trained tutors use proprietary test prep materials and personalized learning plans to build the content knowledge and problem-solving strategies students need to perform their best on test day. Whether your student is taking the exam for the first time or looking to improve their score, we tailor preparation to their current skill level and target goals.

  As a general guide, most students preparing for a major exam such as the SAT®, PSAT®, or ACT® attend two sessions per week over three to six months. For state assessments or classroom exams, the timeline may be shorter, depending on the student's starting point and goals. 

  After the diagnostic assessment, we'll have a clear picture of what your student needs and can recommend a session schedule that gives them the best chance of success. 

• Do you offer online math test prep at Mathnasium of Annapolis?

  Yes! Students can join live, face-to-face online sessions with our specially trained tutors in Annapolis and follow the same personalized learning plan as they would in the center.
