Hi, my name is Shane Ryan. I am the Center Director here in Annapolis! I began working at Mathnasium as an instructor in 2020 while still in high school. After discovering my love for teaching and working with kids, I decided to stay local and attended college at AACC. I now have my associate degree in business administration and am on track to earn my bachelor's at UMGC! After I finish that degree, I plan to start one in mathematics. When I'm not at work or going to class, my favorite hobby is playing basketball with friends :)
Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm the Assisstant Center Director here at Mathnasium of Annapolis. I moved to Annapolis about 3 1/2 years ago after graduating from Wilkes University with three Bachelor degrees in Mathmatics, Secondary Education, and Dance Pedagogy. I am very Passionate about teaching math and sharing how fun, mesmorizing, and beautiful math is. This made Mathnasium the perfect place for me to work and in the future I would love to continue growing with this company. Another passion of mine is ballet, which I currently pursue professionally with the ballet theatre of Maryland. In my free time I like to play board games, paint, and sew.
Hi, I'm Talika! I'm an Assistant Director at Mathnasium. I've always enjoyed math and love sharing that excitement with others! In my senior year of high school, I spent a lot of time tutoring my peers, helping them better understand their homework. After graduating, I was able to pursue a job where I can share that love and excitement with others! I spend most of my free time being out with my pet chickens and geese, or crocheting plushies. Nothing is better than hanging out with some feathery friends!

My name is Finley and I am an instructor at Mathnasium. I am relatively new and joined in September of 2024. I am currently a sophomore in high school and the reason why I work here is because I love math and I love teaching so this seems like the perfect job for me. I want to go to an Icy League college and hopefully become a banker or lawyer from there. I like to play soccer and one interesting thing about me is that I was born in Manhattan, New York.
Finding out what your calling is in your life is an interesting journey. At first I thought it was gaming and I spent countless hours reaching the top 1% of players in North America in League of Legends. Then I got m first job delivering packages for Amazon, and I realized I really enjoy providing a service and brightening someones day. I went back to my hobby and started coaching people on the game. I'll never forget some of my students. It has been a pleasant transfer to teaching math. Teaching has always been an intriguing challenge which has kept my attention far more than learning for myself. I am excited for the next day!
