Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Kenny

Center Director

Kenny Lu earned his degree in English with a teaching emphasis from California State University, Los Angeles. He began his Mathnasium journey in Las Vegas, working across several centers before joining the Anthem team.

Kenny’s passion for learning started with inspirational teachers from his own childhood. Today, he passes that love of learning on to his students, using the Mathnasium Method™ to make math meaningful and enjoyable for children of all ages.

Vanessa

Lead Instructor

Hi there! My name is Vanessa and I’m currently studying Business Administration and Finance at UNLV. Math has always been my strong suit and I love teaching other people math. Seeing the confidence they gain from understanding it and even learning to enjoy it brings me joy as well. In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, and painting.

Abby

Instructor

Hi! My name is Abby. I attend Liberty High School and have a strong passion for math and science. It's here at Mathnasium where I first discovered my love for math in my elementary schooling, and I’d love to help others discover that same excitement and confidence. Outside of school, I love making friendship bracelets and spending time playing video games. I look forward to meeting you!

Michael

Instructor

Michael is a senior at Coronado High School and plans to study kinesiology in college. Inspired by his own math teachers, he brings energy and encouragement to his role at Mathnasium.

He believes every student can learn to enjoy math with the right support and perspective. Michael also enjoys video games, k-pop, anime, and watching NFL games in his spare time.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
