Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Apex

Teddy S.

Teddy attended college at Boston University and UConn until he began working at Mathnasium in 2013. Since he’d helped dozens of friends and family with schoolwork from a young age, he knew he found his calling at Mathnasium and has been working uninterrupted for the company since then, spending the better part of the last decade as the Center Director of Mathnasium of Darien CT before moving on to become the Regional Manager for Mathnasiums in Nashville and Chattanooga TN. Teddy looks forward to bringing his dedication and enthusiasm towards learning to Apex. When not working he enjoys reading, playing board and video games, and tug of war with his beagle/corgi Buck.

Madison D.

Madison has a master's degree in chemical engineering from NC State. Her favorite part of working at Mathnasium is sharing her love of higher math with the students and helping them get their math to the next level. She especially enjoys guiding students through difficult concepts until they have that "AHA" moment of clarity. Outside of work, Madison likes to bike and kayak when the weather is nice. Otherwise, she is just as happy playing video games with her husband and cuddling with her cats.

Bryan W

Bryan is currently working on his Masters in Electrical Engineering at NC State. He interned at Apple as an acoustic engineer before starting his Masters program. Bryan recognizes that his ability in math is a result of the encouragement and instrument of his teachers. He wants to give other students the same thing. In his free time Bryan works out, plays piano, cooks, and watches movies.

Vik G.

Vik is a rising senior at Panther Creek Highschool and he is hoping to find his path in computer science and finance in the near future! Despite initially struggling with math, once Vik was introduced to Algebra everything clicked for him, and he hopes to encourage and motivate students to overcome those struggles as well! Outside of school and work Vik is a competitive dancer and badminton player!

Abhinay R.

Abhinay is a rising junior attending Enloe High School. Abhinay has a passion for STEM and is proud to have taken on leadership roles at his school that include the Artificial Intelligence Club and DECA. This is what drove him to Mathnasium because it gives him a chance to give back to the younger community and also share his love of math! In his free time he enjoys playing soccer and collecting every FIFA game that's been released since 2014.

Ruthwik D.

Ruthwik is a rising junior at Enloe High School. Ruthwik is extremely passionate about astrophysics and plans on majoring in that subject for college. He loves working with children and being able to witness their growth and help them evolve into "amazing individuals" and he has found that Mathnasium is the perfect opportunity for that! In his free time Ruthwik enjoys playing cricket and watching physics documentaries.

Ella M

Ella is the friendly face greeting you as you walk in the door! Her goal is to make each student and family feel welcome and she loves meeting new people. She will also challenge any student to a game of Uno or Connect Four! Ella attends NC State and In her spare time Ella loves to read, play video games, sing, and hangout with her friends. She has a cat named Salem and her favorite food is cheese. :)
