Jessica is passionate about helping students succeed in math! With five years of teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree in both Mathematics and Elementary Education, she brings a strong understanding of classroom dynamics and learning strategies.
She is dedicated to guiding students through math challenges, whether it's filling in learning gaps, tackling homework, or reaching academic goals. Jessica is excited to share her love for math and support students in building confidence and skills that will last a lifetime.
Guillermo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from the University of Texas at El Paso. He also completed a semester of graduate studies in math and brings over five years of tutoring experience at all levels, including college coursework.
Originally from Mexico, Guillermo is passionate about making math accessible and exciting. He enjoys chess, soccer, and working through challenging math problems for fun. With energy and enthusiasm, he’s here to help every student build confidence ¡Viva las Matemáticas!
Ronak is a high school student at Veritas Preparatory Academy with aspirations of studying engineering or aviation in college. He’s passionate about learning and enjoys helping students build their math skills through patience, encouragement, and clear explanations.
Outside of Mathnasium, Ronak enjoys reading, running, and playing chess. A fun fact: one of his bucket list goals is to learn how to fly a plane, and his favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids! He’s excited to make math a more engaging and rewarding subject for every student.
Petra is a student at Phoenix Country Day School studying neuroscience with plans to become a pediatric oncologist. She has a deep passion for math, which she believes plays a key role in both her academic and future career aspirations. Petra leads the RosFranklin Society, a girls in STEM program, and volunteers at HonorHealth’s John C. Lincoln Medical Explorer’s Club. She is also an ambassador for Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research and actively participates in cross-country, track and field, and theater.
In addition to her academics, Petra runs her school’s Spanish Club and holds a DELE C1 certification in Spanish. She dreams of living in Spain one day to immerse herself in the culture.
