Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Ascension

Julianne Watts

Julianne has a degree in Elementary Education. She spent time in the classroom and then decided to work in the private sector as a tutor. She joined the Mathnasium family in Dec 2011 as Membership Director to help run the centers. During her tenure here, she has been the Membership Director for all area centers, the Center Director of each center for seasons of time, and Executive Director in charge of operations. Julianne loves math and working with children to help them achieve academic success. She has two daughters, Joelle is 13 and Joanna is 7. In her spare time, she enjoys playing card and puzzle games, spending time with her family, and binge watching her favorite shows.

Molly Roberts

Molly is a student at LSU who is majoring in mathematics with a focus on secondary education, and computer science with a focus on data systems and analytics. Her favorite math class was AP Statistics (shoutout to Dr. Price!!). Outside of working at Mathnasium, Molly enjoys horseback riding, reading, pottery, and playing video games (specifically Minecraft and Valorant). She is a huge Swiftie, but always open to new music too! An Interesting Fact About Molly is that she has a pet axolotl named Colonel Mustard! Why she likes working at Mathnasium, "I love the kids. Whether they’re struggling and don’t want to be there or ahead of their class and eager to learn more, I believe that every student can do well if they’re taught the right way. It’s super rewarding to see how they make connections and finally understand concepts that may have seemed impossible before."

Austin Louque

School/Major: Austin is in college pursuing a Software Engineering degree Favorite Math Class: College Calculus Hobbies/Interests: I like to hang out with my friends in public like going to the mall or bowling. An Interesting Fact About Austin: I actually ended up taking Calculus I two times, once in high school and once in college Why he likes working at Mathnasium: I enjoy working at Mathnasium because it has a great work environment and it gives me a place to use my skills to help others.
