Matt graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 with a B.A. in Economics. He began working as an instructor at the Mathnasium of Norman, Oklahoma in the summer of 2018, moving up to Assistant Director in May 2020. He worked in Norman until July 2023, when he and his wife, Hannah, moved to Athens, where he started as Center Director for Mathnasium of Athens. Matt loves getting the opportunity at Mathnasium to work with students from many different backgrounds, each with their own strengths and personalities, and finding the ways to help math make sense to them. He is constantly excited to work with the Mathnasium team to create a fun, positive, learning-focused environment where kids can feel confident about math. In his free time, Matt enjoys playing, studying, and teaching chess. He loves listening to classical music, and likes playing piano and writing music as well. On Saturdays, though, you'll find him and his wife rooting for their OU Sooner football team (and maybe also their adoptive Dawgs).
