Susan Kolozsvari

Susan Kolozsvari

Owner/Center Director
Susan has been with Mathnasium for more than four years. She has a deep mathematical background (MS, Physics Stanford University) that complements her long history of working with children. Over many years, Susan has served children in many forms: Co-op pre-school, elementary classroom volunteer, substitute teacher, soccer coach, Girl Scout Leader, Scouts BSA Scoutmaster. Mathnasium brings Susan’s many talents together to share her enthusiasm for math to the children of Hendricks county. Susan believes so strongly in the Mathnasium program that she decided to buy the Avon Center! Mathnasium is a life changing program for children, and Susan is excited to share it with you!

James

Assistant Center Director
James has been with Mathnasium for four years. He has a very strong math background, and is one of our strongest instructors with our high school math students. He also has incredible patience with our youngest students. James is an Eagle Scout and a former gymnast.

Adelyn

Instructor

Adelyn is currently a senior at Avon High School.  She is a two sport athlete (volleyball and tennis). Adelyn plans to attend MIT in the fall to study finance and plans to play for their volleyball team!  She brings great energy and enthusiasm to our instructional team. Welcome to the Mathnasium family Adelyn!

Jaap

Instructor
Jaap attends Avon High School. He is a former Mathnasium Student, and this experience is invaluable to his role as an instructor. Jaap is especially good at working with our younger students, and helping them think the "Mathnasium Way" about a topic!

Abdullah

Instructor
Abdullah is a current Avon High School student. He is a soccer player, with interests in math, computer programing, and engineering. Abdullah is a wonderful addition to our team!

Oumou

Instructor
Oumou is a senior at Brownsburg High School. She enjoys artistic pursuits like drawing and other forms of art, and plans to pursue a career in Computer Science. Oumou is a wonderful new member of our team!

Toree

Instructor
Toree is a current student at Danville High School. She has always had a passion for math and understanding things from a deep number sense. She is a swimmer on the high school team, and also plays clarinet in the band. Toree hopes to be accepted into Rose Hulman and plans to be an engineer.

Janet

Instructor
Janet is a retired middle school math teacher. After a long career helping middle school students progress in mathematics, Janet recently retired, but missed working with students. Janet is balancing spending time with her grandbaby to spend time with our students too. She is an amazing instructor, and brings a real spark to our center!

Adnan

Instructor

Adnan is a former Mathnasium student!  I love to hire former students because they already know our language and expectations. Currently Adnan is a student at Ben Davis High School. He is both fun and kind, and will be a great asset to our center!

Ramaa

Instructor

Ramaa is a wonderful new member of our team. Ramaa is a current substitute teacher with the Avon Schools, and has a strong mathematics background.  Her quiet manner helps her be an excellent listener when she is helping our students. Welcome to the team Ramaa!

Kendall

Instructor
Kendall is an undergraduate at UIndy. She is majoring in math education, and comes to us with a passion for learning, and a drive to become a fabulous teacher. Kendall has significant experience working with children both inside and outside the classroom. Kendall's quiet caring manner makes her a fabulous instructor!
